Back to school and already happy to have ALVPHA Tech GmbH, a German deep-tech company based in Eislingen, Baden-Württemberg, join the community.
They operate ALVPHA Upstream, an external Open Source Program Office as a managed service: component inventory, SBOM, vulnerability triage, lifecycle management and upstream delivery — for manufacturers preparing for the EU Cyber Resilience Act and for the public sector, where NIS2 and the German BSI IT-Grundschutz form the evidence framework.
We join the Alliance to learn from and contribute to good open source governance practice, in particular our operational experience with CRA readiness, SBOM evidence and running open source responsibly in public administration and we look forward to engaging with the Good Governance Initiative.
